Dreaming & Listening Matrix

  • St. Margaret's House 21 Old Ford Road London, England, E2 9PL United Kingdom (map)

The Dreaming and Listening Matrix is a free participatory group workshop for trans, non-binary and gender diverse people who are interested in dreams, imagination and community.

The matrix uses therapeutic sound bath practices to create a more grounded and embodied collective space for community sharing, followed by time to share dreams and collective associations, and explore the social meanings of our dreams.

We will not interpret our dreams on an individual level, but explore resonances that emerge in the matrix, and how these threads may connect to our various intersecting identities. Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions about the nature of the workshop.

The Dreaming and Listening Matrix is a collaboration between Iggy Robinson, Nicole Bettencourt Coelho and Sasha Wilde, to develop a new form of social dreaming matrix with sound. This project explores our convergent interests in magic and ritual, embodied interaction, and intuitive meaning-making in community. Iggy is a psychotherapist, writer and workshop facilitator who has been organising social dreaming matrix events within queer community for the past five years. Nicole is a musician and sound therapist, and Sasha is a sound and performance artist.
