We have a broad range of community projects here at St. Margaret’s House. From workshops, exhibitions, and installations, to year-long heritage projects and special seasonal events.
Mendoza Mania
From April 2022 to July 2023, we ran our heritage project investigating local boxing hero Daniel Mendoza.
The Charity Shop Hop
We are delighted to announce the launch of the Charity Shop Hop! An exciting community project brought to life with the help of Bethnal Green artist Shahena Begum, St Margaret’s House, the Gallery Cafe & Ayoka
Ghyama Arts
Our project delivering arts and wellbeing sessions with the Bangladeshi Parents and Carers Association.
Repair Cafes
St Margaret’s House, Bromley by Bow and The Royal Foundation of St. Katherine are delighted to be collaborating to host a series of monthly Repair Cafe across Tower Hamlets.
Mad Women
A play inspired by Violeta Parra, Frida Kahlo and Judith Marquez, outstanding female Latin American artists who struggled with their mental health.
Hens with Heart
We have partnered with Hens with Heart, the first and only platform dedicated to helping hen parties do things for others, or for the good of the world, when they celebrate together.
