This month we are exploring MASCULINITY
Masculinity can be seen as an element of identity and as an expression. It is a concept not limited solely to gender but observed and experienced in so many ways, both unique and similar.
We live in a patriarchal society, with a lot of mainstream views about what masculinity is/should be (especially in relation to femininity), and we see a lot of violence enacted by some who identify with masculinity.
We don't feel that violence is inherent in the masculine, and we invite you to think with us about some of the more constructive qualities we see and want to evoke from the masculine.
Come and share your stories, discuss masculinity and all its facets. How would you define it? What are your thoughts on its place in society? How would it act if it were a person?
