WomanEwer - Performance and Q&A

  • St. Margaret's House 21 Old Ford Road London, England, E2 9PL United Kingdom (map)

Join us for a contemporary dance performance set within a beautiful arts installation in the St Margaret's House Chapel.

WomanEwer bring a brand new chapter of their project to life in this mutli-disciplinary performance.

This new chapter for the WomanEwer project is a beautiful ode to the body, empowering the harmed and shaping once mute spaces. The aim is to make Women & their stories VISIBLE, symbolising that “We can all have our own voice, speak out, be bold & step up for yourself.” Women from all over the world & all ages, constantly fall victim to abuse & assault, yet are all seen as nurturing creatures that care, cater and feed. These - pedestrian - gestures & sounds, play an integral part in the research, contrasting the repeated occurrence of the daily abuse with the daily caring.

About WomanEwer: WomanEwer is an all-female-led artistic project, that brings women of all ages and horizons together into a safe space, to explore and come to terms with their own experiences of sexual abuse through dance and theatre.
