WORKSHOP Explore Outdoors: Gentle Yoga in Nature

  • London, England, E2 9JW United Kingdom (map)

There’s nothing like getting out in nature, moving and breathing together in community to make us feel good and support our mental and physical wellbeing! The class is specifically designed for adults in the Bow area, but it is open to anyone!

This class takes place outdoors in Victoria Park in the Glade, close to Bonner Gate. Practice gentle yoga, breathing and mindfulness surrounded by nature. Release tension, maintain joint health and increase mobility as well as learn techniques to support mental health and reduce symptoms of stress and anxiety.

This class is for participants of any age and experience, who wish to practice gently and mindfully. This is a mat based practice from standing, seated and lying down and options and variations will be given so that you can practice in a way that nurtures and supports your body.

Please bring a yoga mat or towel. If you do not own a yoga mat and would like to borrow one for the duration of the sessions, please contact Laura at laura@stmargaretshouse.org.uk, who will provide details on how to borrow a mat.

If the weather is especially wet or windy, the class will be cancelled and you will be notified by email.
