Extra Second London
Join us for a cosy poetry, spoken word, music and discussion night on the the last Saturday of every month. Hosted by Kid Anansi and Julie G, we offer open mic slots before we embark on the monthly discussion topic. Our discussions provide a healing space for spoken word performers and audiences to connect.
Open mic slots are 5 minutes but that's not a limit, we always give open micers a few Extra Seconds, as our name suggests.
Our discussion theme this month is DREAMS
Daydreams, hopes and distant stars, night stars and clouds and sheep and REM alternate realities.
The depths and curiosities of our imagination. The mind’s humble attempt to digest the day's baggage. Visits from spectres of the collective consciousness...
Join us to ponder on all this and more on Saturday 30th November.
