Saturday 22nd June marks Windrush Day and Grand Union's music celebrates this and the successive waves of migration that followed.
Arrive from 5.30pm, and join us for a screening of "The Song of Many Tongues," a captivating film that looks back at the past 40 years of the Grand Union Orchestra. This film chronicles the orchestra’s journey, celebrating the rich history and diverse cultural influences that have shaped their music.
From 7pm, experience the vibrant and diverse melodies that define the rich cultural tapestry of London. "Can't Chain Up Me Mind" brings together musicians from various backgrounds, blending traditional instruments and modern rhythms to create a truly unique soundscape.
