Freshly Squeezed Scratch Night

Join us for a night of vibrant new writing, championing the work of early career artists looking to make risk-taking theatre.

St Margaret’s House are thrilled to be collaborating with Flat 4 Theatre for our upcoming Scratch Night: Freshly Squeezed. Freshly Squeezed will showcase 6 short scripts from new writers, platforming some of London’s most exciting up and coming talent. This is a night to champion theatre at an early stage of development and celebrate the importance of new work, brave ideas and strong voices.

After 60+ amazing submissions, we are proud to present the following 6 pieces which will be showcased at Freshly Squeezed:

  • 'And So the Rabbit Died' by Emily Layton

  • 'Casual' by katy Tonge

  • 'Fission' by Ellie Bibby

  • 'Home Free' by Enoch Lwanga

  • 'Rumspringa' by Emma Cooney

  • 'They Said My masculinity was Toxic, but What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Stronger' by Esther Warren

Keep an eye out on @flat4theatre & @st.margarets.house Instagram as we announce more about the fantastic creatives behind each piece!

You will even have a part to play! In order to support these artists to develop their ideas further, we will ask audience members to leave feedback for each piece.
