Join us for 10 free drawing workshops in Victoria Park as a part of St Margaret's House's 'Explore Outdoors' programme.
Each week will feature a different theme observed in the park, such as trees, water and animals. These workshops are open to everyone, including beginners, with all materials provided. They are specifically designed for adults in the Bow area, but the workshops are open to anyone! Come along, bring yourself and enjoy drawing in nature while meeting like-minded people.
Each class starts with a short introduction on the theme, after which you’ll be led through a series of drawing exercises by nature-inspired artists Babette van Gerwen and Will Kennedy. You’ll finish the class with lovely pictures of the park to take home and share.
The specific location in Victoria Park will vary each week, allowing us to observe different elements in nature. You can meet us directly at the location at the class start time or walk there together with us from St Margaret’s House at 9 AM.
This free class requires registration. If you register but cannot attend, please cancel 48 hours in advance to allow someone else to take your place.
