Join Us for our Open Mic Night at The Gallery Cafe!

Are you ready to unleash your talent and share your passion with a supportive community? Look no further! Our monthly Open Mic Night is the perfect platform for performers of all kinds. Whether you're a seasoned artist or a budding talent, our stage is open!!

You can expect:

  • Diverse Performances: All forms of art expression are welcome from acoustic musicians and poets to stand-up comedians and storytellers.

  • Friendly Atmosphere: Our cafe provides a warm, inviting environment where you can feel at ease performing in front of an appreciative audience.

Whether it's your guitar, your poetry, or just your enthusiasm, bring whatever you need to shine on stage. Part of the magic of our Open Mic Nights is the camaraderie and mutual support among performers and audience members alike. Whether you're performing or just enjoying the show, you're sure to leave feeling inspired and uplifted.

Mark your calendars for the last Thursday of each month and join us for a night of creativity, community, and fun. We can't wait to see you there!

Performers:

Following the feedback we have gathered through our recent survey, we are now offering the possibility of booking some spaces in advance. This way, we will be able to share your social media links beforehand.

We have 4 open mic spaces available to pre-book and 4 open mic spaces available to sign-up on the door. Open mic sign up is from 6.30pm with performances starting at 7.00pm. 8 slots of 8-10mins are available per evening. We welcome musicians, poets, and comedians - if you are a band, please do get in touch about technical requirements in advance so we can advise on whether we can support you. Please note we cannot provide a full backline.

Venue: The Gallery Cafe at St. Margaret’s House, 21 Old Ford Road, E2 9PL (Plan your visit)

Time: 7.00 - 9.00 pm (Sign up at 6:30pm)

Access: If you have any access needs of which we should be aware, please let us know.
Step-free entry to The Gallery Cafe is at the rear, through the garden. It is accessible through the gate located two doors to the left of the cafe’s main entrance. If you need access to an accessible toilet, please let us know so we can arrange that.
