WORKSHOP: Outlines - Life Drawing

  • The Canvas 27 Old Ford Road London, England, E2 9PJ United Kingdom (map)

Outlines: Life Drawing

Outlines: Life drawing is an affordable and low pressure way to practice drawing bodies in a neutral and supportive space. We will be based at the Canvas, an intimate and private community space in Bethnal Green, perfect for a smaller and friendly group environment. Beginners are very welcome (along with keen sketchers!); some basic materials (paper, pencils, charcoal, etc.) will be provided, but please feel free to bring anything you’d like to use, sketchbooks, pens, pastels, fabric; the world is your oyster! The session will be roughly two hours long with a few warm-up poses, each for a couple of minutes, a 15-minute, slightly longer pose, and then two longer 30-minute poses with a break for tea, snack and chat in between. The session will be untutored, but please do ask if you’d like any advice or if you have questions.

Venue: The Canvas, E2 9PJ

Access: If you have any access needs of which we should be aware, please let us know.
Entry to The Canvas is step-free but the toilet is not accessible. If you need access to an accessible toilet, please let us know so we can arrange that.

Time: 6:00 - 8:00 pm

Dates: 3rd October, 17th October, 31st October, 14th November, 28th November
