WORKSHOP Explore Outdoors: Embroidery Inspired by Nature

  • St. Margaret's House 21 Old Ford Road London, England, E2 9PL United Kingdom (map)

Join Alexa from Material Grrrlz to learn how to embroider, using inspiration from nature! This series of summer-morning workshops will focus on using thread and basic embroidery techniques to recreate plants seen in Victoria Park. They are specifically designed for adults in the Bow area, but the workshops are open to anyone!

Each session will begin with an introduction to embroidery techniques. We will then explore the nature around us to find plants to embroider. You'll finish the class with a piece of embroidery to take home.

All skill levels are welcome and all materials are provided! We will provide instructions and support throughout the process of creating your embroidery piece.

Arrive at the Meeting Point (sent via email upon ticket booking) at the start of each session.

This free class requires registration. If you register but cannot attend, please cancel 48 hours in advance to allow someone else to take your place.
