Mendoza Mania!
Over three months in the 2023 spring term and early summer term, we delivered a series of 22 workshops with a group of young people and volunteers aged 10-15 from the local community in Tower Hamlets, using Mendoza’s autobiography as source material. The sessions took place at St. Hilda’s East Community Centre. On 4 May 2023, Mendoza Mania!, a collaboration with Voicebox Theatre (Cecilia Garcia and Benji Teare) and artists Kazuko Hohki, D’relle West and Annie Chadwick, was presented at St. Hilda’s East to an audience of family and friends.
