You can start something new or continue with something you have always enjoyed. Take your pick from arts workshops, wellbeing sessions, live events, opportunities to be outdoors and more!
April 2023 marked the beginning of our journey as a new Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation! We're so excited to be delivering a diverse and exciting cultural programme that will create healthier and happier communities. #LetsCreate
We bring together three artist from our wonderfully creative and talented diverse ethnic communities. Shahena Begum is an emerging British/Bengali artist living in Tower Hamlets, Ahmed Jabir is an established British/Sudanese artist living in Hackney and Aisha Hussein Shariffe, a Sudanese artist and interior designer living in Greenford.

Join St Margaret’s House on Tuesday mornings in the Tramshed for our Women’s Wellbeing sessions! Led by yoga practitioner Vimalamani and supported by local volunteers, these sessions provide a welcoming and safe space to take part in gentle movement and meditation, helping to improve your mood, confidence, and feelings of wellbeing.

Join St Margaret’s House on Tuesday afternoons in the Tramshed for our Men’s Exercise sessions! Led by sports coach Ryan Savage, these sessions provide a welcoming and fun space to take part in physical activities, helping to improve your mood, confidence, and feelings of wellbeing.

This workshop will focus on the importance of language. Using mini journals, we will explore the power of language through poetry prompts and cutting up old text to create and express our own personal narratives.

If you haven’t written creatively before but always wanted to, or if you haven’t written for some time and want to kick-start your practice, then this low-cost, intensive course is for you.
